Not seeing my whole library in osx

I've compiled pms using dependencies form macports on 10.4

All seems to work good except that my library only list about 1600 songs when It should be around 60,000.....

Any Idea why?

check with mpd --version if all formats used are supported
check permission on files.

Using other clients I can see my whole library...So I assume that rules both of those issues out?
