commit bad350bc18ab81661253bf42245b9e3fa175d026
Author: Max Kellermann <max@duempel.org>
Date: Fri Dec 25 19:47:33 2009 +0100

    decoder_api: added function decoder_timestamp()

    Remove the data_time parameter from decoder_data(). This patch
    eliminates the timestamp counting in most decoder plugins, because the
    MPD core will do it automatically by default.

Can't reproduce. What's the audio format? Is the time stamp correct after seeking? Is the advertisted duration correct?

It happens with _all_ my mp3 files. new and old ones, vbr and cbr. Other audio formats are not affected.

After seeking the timestamp is correct, but it continues to run at half speed.
The duration of the files is also shown correctly.

build from today still has this issue. Any information i can provide, that might be useful apart from that bisect?

created a little screencast showing all information you requested, maybe that helps:

As you can see, clicking the progressbar, corrects the display.
